I guess
this settles the little question of what to do on Sunday. It will be a slop fest, but it will be fun! I guess I need to start working on my mud technique. Plenty of opportunity to do that now. At least there isn't much climbing on what is an overgrown sandbar . . .

I don't know if it will be much of a slopfest. It's only Wednesday. Supposed to be super windy the rest of the week. I think it's going to stop raining/snowing tomorrow. Plenty of time to dry out. Wishful thinking :)
Hey Amanda! Welcome to my humble abode.
I don't mean to be such a downer, but this long winter stuff is really starting to wear me down.
I suppose it will dry out some between now and then, assuming that the weekend storm stays south of here. Wind helps, sun helps, and warm temps help. If we get two out of three we'll be doing well.
See you this weekend, or are you going to Finchford on Sunday?
I hope it dries up. The only tires I have that are suitable for mud are a pair of heavy 2.3's.
Good Luck at Sylvan!
Paul-
I realize there's a slim possibility of the trails drying out. I really want to race mountain bikes, so I hope it does. Racing in the mud is no fun. I'll probably be at Sylvan Island, unless it's super muddy. I might even go to Missouri for a mountain bike race. Stupid unpredictable weather...See ya Sunday.
Ineb - I'm planning on taking my regular bike with Mich XCR Drys, and my mud bike with Mich XCR A/Ts. Hopefully I'll be prepared for anything that way. I've got some extra tires I could lend to you. Give me a call.
Bidwell - Thanks! Hey, what happened to your blog anyway?
Amanda - Stupid weather is right. I'm gonna write someone a letter. This has got to stop! See you Sunday.
i wanna go to sylvan island with you...but not to race...to go see my mommy!!!!!! but sadly i must go up to minnesota to get my ass kicked by noonan...ugh
Bryan - I've heard Noonan puts on a good race. You'll have fun. You're also riding really strong right now, so I'll bet you will get a good result.
