JingleCross Pictures

I took a few pictures during the JingleCross elite race. The pictures don't really convey how long and steep the hill is, but you can see it in the faces of the racers. If you see yourself and want a higher quality version of the picture, let me know.

I tried to pick a good spot, shot a lot of pictures (300+ for the elite race), and hoped that one of them turned out. I wished I had remembered to take my camera up the hill for the Women's elite race.

My camera/lenses are way better at taking pictures than I am (notice a theme here). Going digital makes it painless to learn the ropes. I shot until my trigger finger got tired.

I showed these pictures to a friend at work, and he asked, "Why didn't you take any pictures of people riding bikes". Needless to say, he doesn't get 'cross.

You sussed out the "pro" photog's secret...very very smart cameras. They do everything but wipe your ass these days. Can make your skillz dull; needless to say I have become a victim of convenience that's for sure.
